  SQUEAL OF JOY. I had at least 4 employees interact with me. All lovely people. My niece and nephew LOST THEIR MIND with joy. So much heart and imagination in this store. And I was dazzled by the array for kids of all ranges and interests and for people of all budgets. Also got some incredible original art as well as a scrummy iced latte♡♡♡♡ Thanks for being a delightful place!!!!

  This store is a conundrum for me. They have lots of cool things to look at and discover, but I don't really want to buy anything from here. It's more of a "Wow, that's cool" and put it back on the shelf type place. If you're looking for a quirky gift, I suppose you'll find it here.
  
  Edit to reply: Yes, indeed. My parents have brought my son to Terra several times. We've spent many combined hours in the store. The employees are generally friendly and the selection is varied and wide. I didn't remove a star because I can't find something to buy. I added stars in consideration of the things you mentioned. Terra may not be for me or my son, but I recognize others will probably find something here to take home. That being said, I'm surprised at the argumentative tone of your reply to a 4 star review.

  This place is Majic!!!!! If your Child hood had a TOY it's here period!! Warning!! 🕚⌛️⏳️Time gets L0ST in here!!! Im serious!!

  As a new mom, I was looking for places to wonder with my now 3 month old (indoors, because yuck Texas summers are HOT!).
  Yes, we go regularly to library story times. But you can’t bring coffee into libraries …well, terra toys has its own cafe attached! This was a life saver because when my little one was tired, we stopped in the cafe for a delicious latte, diaper change, and a feeding. They have a cute library section where you can peruse books. Prices are not unreasonable. Everyone was helpful and kind. The bathroom was very clean and spacious.

  Best toy store we have been to in Austin-toys for both kids and adults! Was very impressed with the selection. My son made me come here for the 80's gumball machine that sends your gumball through a maze, lol. There was so much to see-my favorites being the vintage nesting dolls, and tin wind up toys etc. Lots of toys out to try before you buy. Very friendly staff. Also had a ittle coffee shop as well-did not try so can't review that part but will do next time :) Cool murals outside as well-will definitely come back again and again.
