Mark C. Dawson, MD

Mark Dawson, MD, is a terrific doc and very kind man who listens carefully with both of his empathetic ears. In my book, he and his staff offer up the best, most compassionate, comprehensive medical care I’ve found anywhere in my 72 years. The people of Central Texas are so lucky to have Dr. Dawson, Shannon Drachenberg, PA-C and their entire excellent team available to meet a broad spectrum of their medical needs, as they quite obviously care about their patients on an individual basis. Because of that, I, and my husband, have both steered many family members, friends and friends of friends their way over the years.

Exceptional service!! My husband had surgery done by a specialist. The entry site for the catheter dispensing numbing medication would not close and was leaking blood and liquid for a week. As my husband’s GP, Dr Dawson saw my husband as soon as we called. Dr Dawson was able to stop the leakage. He also treated the possibility of a dangerous post-surgery infection with antibiotics. Within a matter of hours the leaking stopped and the entry site closed and healed. We are so grateful for his expertise, responsiveness, and concern.

Dr Mark Dawson and his staff are really genuinely great caring and smart people. You are not just a number at their medical practice. My family has been going to see him for over 20 years and he is the best GP doctor we have ever known and Shannon Drachenberg his main Physician Assistant is also very very excellent.
