Briarwood Detox

Briarwood detox’s staff was very caring and knowledgeable with all types of addiction. I had a very good experience during my stay there. I would highly recommend if you or a loved one is suffering from addiction.

Briarwood is a wonderful place to detox. The staff are all incredible. I sailed through detox as if I were not detoxing. They are all highly professional and super kind. I was thoroughly appreciative of their care.

The facility is very nice. From other patients input, I gather that this is the nicest place around. And, Briarwood is replacing all of their mattresses, so you can get a great nights rest.

The food is great. The chef is timely and prompt with meals.

I was a difficult client, but Briarwood staff were loving and caring through it all. The facility is comfortable, safe and clean. Meals were good. Snacks were easily accessible at any time. Great place for a comfortable detox before I headed over to Nova for 90 days of intensive inpatient treatment.

I attended briarwood detox in August of 2020 I had been through covid detoxing jail etc and was convinced I could never “taper off” and was a forever addict. I went in to briarwood very angry and resentful and was immediately welcomed with respect and sincerity. Quickly I found my outlook had changed and that everybody was there to support me. My taper went well and the after affects were minimal and I finally found I had a place and ability to to get clean. Past the facilities and food and outside area “all very nice and comfortable” the people there were inspiring and empathetic. It was honestly a place I never wanted to leave and would gladly come back “not for using of course”. Being in there during covid was a struggle but they handled it very well in a respectful but safe way. The staff will always make sure your taper is comfortable and safe and even if you are worried about medical issues it’s a safe environment to be in. They will push you to take the next step in life and make sure after you leave that you have some sort of plan. “But don’t we all need a map to life” and I wouldn’t recommend any of my old buddy’s to go anywhere else. Enjoy socializing and getting the stuff you need out in a comfortable place and try mixing the red and yellow Gatorade together. (Little inside info ?)

I believe the staff is caring, professional& knowledgeable. I like the fact they are former addicts or alcoholic s which makes it easier to relate & express their experience. The facility is extremely clean & kept up. The maintenance dept is very conscientious & show quality work in everything they do.
