The Little Darlin'

This is a nice place to hang out with friends and catch some live music on the weekend in a laid-back atmosphere. The drinks are good (although it's not any cheaper than drinking downtown) and they serve food. The stage is outdoors, so I imagine that the shows are a bit weather-dependent.

Inside the building, you can view and purchase art by local artists.

Parking and seating are both more ample than they appear from the street and smoking is permitted in the outdoor seating area.

As my little neighborhood place lands on every list of best places in Austin I wish I could keep this to myself, but it really is so great. They have the best soup in town. The burgers and brunch are amazing. To be honest, I have never had a bad meal there. Love meeting friends and taking my dog there.

Great place to come and chill with friends and grab some drinks! Very spacious indoor and outdoor area. Food is pretty good too! Pets are welcome also. It’s my go to place when I’m not in the mood to go downtown. Very convenient for people who live south as well.

This is a great place to get a drink with friends. They have a huge outdoor area with a separate outside entrance, so it's very safe. I saw people with some pets on leashes and even a few kids. The bartenders are good and knee their stuff, plus they have some cool specialty drinks and infusions you can mix it up with. This place is an unassuming gem you should consider for a great place to hang out.

One of my favorite south Austin spots. Has a huge outdoor area. Infused liquors are a great unique choice if you're looking for something different. All their regular drinks are very reasonably priced. Also come here hungry because their food is incredible.
