Rodney has been fixing my vehicles for years now. Can't say enough about the work. Very honest and will tell you straight. Really polite and responsive. I've had him work on my cars, trucks for my business. Definitely recommend.

My car didn't turn on one day, so I had a friend jump my car and drove it to Autozone to check if it was the battery. Lo and behold, they said it was the battery. So I bought a new one and had them install it, thinking that was the end of the problem. The next day I drive to work and on my way back home, the car wouldn't start. Someone jumped my car and told me my ground cable was eroded. I was able to make it home. I immediately searched for a mobile mechanic and found Austin Mobile Auto Repair. He asked me a couple questions and was at my front door in about an hour. He fixed the problem and now the car is running great. My service engine soon light came off too! He was so nice and very convenient. He did the job in a good amount of time also and was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend him and will keep his number handy.

My husband has been working on getting all four of our brakes replaced on our F250 Diesel. A project that our "friend" started and pretty much made a terrible (and dangerous) mess of. Yesterday and today we were out of commission, brake parts everywhere, and weren't quite sure what to do about them. We were just going to have it towed on Monday to a shop or - God forbid - a dealership to finally get them done right. Like the other reviewer I thought I'd try Austin Mobile Auto Repair. Rodney asked us a few questions, said that he could leave right then and head up here to Bertram and would stop at the store and get parts on the way. Ok! Best service I've had in a long time, on anything. He immediately pointed out the problem and offered to drive my husband to the store for the parts needed. Long story short - all done! Brakes function perfectly and we both felt that he charged us a very fair price for coming out - on a Sunday, nonetheless. Apparently he can and will help with home repairs as well…we may just use him to help build a fence and some other projects that we have in mind.

Either way we will definitely call him for our next auto repair…it was a great experience!

My husband went out of town for the week and right on cue my SUV decided not to start. I don't know much about cars but my neighbor that tried to give me a jump start and google both seemed to agree that my starter was bad.

They had great reviews so I gave them a call. Rodney agreed that it sounded like my starter and said he could be over in a hour and get it fixed for me no problem! Sure enough he got me up and running in no time and it ended up costing far less that the cedar park mechanic had quoted me plus I didn't have to pay to have my car towed in to be fixed. I'll definitely be calling Austin Mobile Auto Repair again if I'm ever in need of a Mobile Mechanic. Also Rodney said he can take care of all regular vehicle maintenance and repairs including Auto Repair, A/C & Heating Repairs, Batteries, Belts & Hoses, Brakes & Rotors, Check Engine Lights, Clutch Cables, Complete Diagnostics, CV Axles, Electric System Repair, Fueling System, Radiators, and Tune Ups.

"Check engine" light had been on for some time. The readout indicated it needed 3 parts replaced. He could have replaced them all and charged accordingly, but he cleaned one, and replaced the least expensive one and said to drive it and see if the light came back on. It never did, so I didn't really need the other parts. Very satisfied with the charge and the service.
