Pace Bend Park

Love the views here, they're so serene!! As a hiker, I wasn't crazy that the hiking👣/ biking🚴🏾‍♀️ trails were all in the center of the peninsula, away from the waters and "views" but good intermediate/ advance trails available. Okay for beginners as well, just anticipate a lot of walking on rocks and (very) little uphill. There are plenty water views nearby the start of the trails so quick 5-10 min walk or 2-5 min drive.🚗 There aren't as many hikers/ people walking or biking the trails so if you're going solo be aware of that. I saw not ONE person during my hour hike, which was nice but also eerie at the same time as I'm used to passing someone here and there. 😕

Pace bend for the cliff jump win!

Pace Bend has something for every jumper from easy lower level to Pale Face which is around 40 ft high.

I had a blast jumping, nothing crazy but tons of fun. Go check it out. We had the place to ourselves!

Girl scout camp here is amazing. The little public park is also nice with camping slots. The bathrooms are primitive but clean. Nice spot

While cliff diving at Pace Bend Park on Sunday, June 20 (Father's Day) around 6 pm, a lady in a green bikini showed up. You were really kind, supportive, and encouraging to a woman you had never met, that was my mom. You picked up litter. I was the guy who helped. I wish I would have caught your name, you came across as a very thoughtful person. I went back to look for you. When I found you, you were meditating and I didn't want to interrupt you.

I hope our paths cross again.

Also, I had a blast. Pace Bend Park was beautiful, the water was amazing, and the cliff diving was exhilarating. Recommend everyone try it at least once, but PICK UP YOUR TRASH.

One of the Austin area's classic mountain bike trail systems. Fantastic hill country trail riding. All skill levels can find something to love at Pace Bend. $10 entrance fee for the park.
