I'm a no frills shopper. I don't like rude and pushy sales people who are just telling me what I want to hear while trying to upsell me on whatever it is they need meet some quota that doesn't serve me or my needs. I say that to say this, I experienced none of that at Texas Discount Furniture. The staff is friendly and accommodating and they authentically want to help. They have an exceptional showroom with with a large selection of items that is easy to navigate and find what your looking for. I personally appreciated the staff, being a man that knows exactly what I walk into a store for, being direct and friendly at the same time. I asked for a student/children's desk relatively inexpensive and was shown exactly that. I was able to find exactly what I needed and completed the transaction in less than 10 minutes. I also took some time to browse the store after my purchase and if and when I need more furniture, I will certainly return again.

We were shopping around for couches. Decided to try this place, loved the people, loved the atmosphere, and were very understanding of my 4 small kiddos. Told them I needed to shop around just a little more as they were out first stop. They were very understanding and helpful. Worked out an amazing deal for us. Really listened to what you want/need and what you can afford. Delivered next day, all wrapped up very nicely, promptly on time. Will definitely buy all my furniture from them in the future! Great local family owned store!
