After several years of struggling to find a good fit, we have been blessed to have found just that in both Tanya Hayslip AND Tanya at the front desk of Counselors of Texas in Austin. They will go above and beyond every time to make your experience comfortable and convenient. They are very professional but at the same time I feel like they are friends- they genuinely care about each individual, whether it be client or family of. As a mother of someone that receives care here, I can genuinely say they have made a difference in our family relationship and have saved my sanity more than once! I give my highest recommendation to anyone looking to be heard without being judged, as well as those who need help with opening up and trusting a stranger with their vulnerabilities. I cannot say enough good things about these two women that I feel so thankful to have in our family’s corner.
Tania the receptionist was super helpful with the whole process. After months of being turned away and getting little help from other places, Tania went above and beyond during the initial intake process. Linze my therapist, was very compassionate and went above and beyond on our first session. I cannot express how thankful I am to have help from this facility. I feel heard and appreciate the time and effort these ladies give me. I am reassured that my care is in wonderful hands and I look forward to seeing and working with these two!
I’ve attended sessions with Ron Crampton, as needed, for a couple of years. He listens, provides prospective and helps me evaluate and self reflect. He’s the longest relationship I’ve had with a counselor because he’s insightful, compassionate and a strait shooter. I have a lot of respect for him.
We could not be more pleased with counselors of Texas, Brandi Winters specifically. Even when having to work remotely with three kids under six she knocked it out of the park and our kids love going to see her after the trauma of our son being hit by a distracted driver. We are very grateful that during a global pandemic there are those who genuinely love what they do and are still continuing to provide those services. Even though she wasn’t taking new clients she could see that we were absolutely desperate and we are extremely grateful for that. Highly recommend.
Oh, also their Covid protocols are great they have hand sanitizer and social distancing and they even have a sink right there so on your way in and on your way out you can wash everybody’s hands they are not using things like Play-Doh that would potential he be a carrier for the virus but allow us to bring our own and we always have the choice of doing in person or teleconferencing appointments.
