Hopdoddy Burger Bar

Damn Good Burger! You order at the counter, but then they tell you where to sit, so that was interesting. Not bad, just different. The fries were very tasty. I ordered the regular, but there are a lot of options for different fries. They serve Pepsi products. I highly recommend this place. Also it wasn't that long of a wait. We were in and out within 30 minutes.

Carl is a great manager. We took my in laws here for a birthday dinner. We carried in our own cake and marble cake stand. As soon as we entered he offered to put both is their refrigerator until after we ate. Then, he cleared a large table and made the cashiers change our table number so we could all sit together inside. He went above and beyond to make it a special birthday at a quick dining restaurant. Hopdoddy was represented well tonight!

I love the remodel of the outdoor seating area. Now the sun doesn't hit you. This is my go to place for a veggie burger which I like since I can do any style burger and have it with the impossible. Service and staff has always been great. This is the place I recommend if you're going to have a cheat meal on the weekends.

Hopdoddy is famous for boutique hamburgers, and accompanying foodie accoutrements. The truffle fries are stellar (must have).

Our typical order is the Big Chuck burger, truffle fries and if you are feeling adventurous go with the Oreo cookie shake, ask for extra truffle sauce on the side and dip the burger in it. The big Chuck is best cooked medium rare with pink in the middle as it's similar to my previous favorite burger that they used to have "Primetime" which sadly went extinct.

The names of the items don't do justice to the level of quality in the food they serve. I believe the beef is locally sourced and ingredients are above average in freshness and quality.

This is a gourmet burger experience and I was surprised by a regional manger reaching out after I had bad experience here before. They stand by their food.

In general I have some concerns that the Round Rock location may not be run as well as other ones so if you have the option to try a different location it might be preferred. I would give them another try to see if it was an isolated experience. I'm hoping they have improved the issues I had before with unfriendly/disengaged customer service and overcooked burgers.

If you're in downtown Austin the South Congress location I've had great luck with and in Dallas the McKinney avenue location is top notch. The problem with multi location restaurants is maintaining the same level of quality. In general this is possibly my favorite hamburger in the state of Texas when the chefs cook it right.

Not a bad place, but they serve their beer is these ridiculous thick glass goblets. I asked to have my beer in a traditional pint glass and it took the staff a bit longer than it should have to accommodate. It would also be great if they served coffee. Otherwise it's a pretty decent place.
