Journey to Wellness

I began my weight loss and healing journey with Dr. Pearce and Journey to Wellness with great reservations and very little hope. To say I was a skeptic was a large understatement! Though I desperately longed for weight loss, health, and healing, disappointing and unsuccessful results w/ previous well meaning holistic doctors, had left me w/ little faith that anyone could help me.
Many years of searching and a significant amount of money and effort, never seemed to produce the promised results each new doctor tried to convince me of.
After months of talking with Dr Pearce, his knowledge and advice convinced me to try again w/ the renewed hope that “this time would be different “… though I had heard that statement many times before!

I am so happy to share that things are different! Dr Pearce and Journey to Wellness has markedly helped my health, healing and weight loss more in the 3 months I’ve been working with them, then any of my past experiences!
I am far from being done with my program, but I have so much more energy, inflammation is almost completely gone, I can move so much easier, the pain in my joints is gone, and I have been able to loose weight, which I haven’t been able to do in a long time!
I am now much more hopeful about the future and am looking forward to what each new phase of healing will bring as I continue to work w/ the doctors and staff at JTW!! I am grateful for the patience and understanding that the entire staff has shown w/ me as my unbelief and disappointment has slowly faded and turned to hope and excitement about what my future holds.
Dr Pearce and Dr Stacey have both been there any time I have had questions or concerns and are happy to answer and take time for me. They explain things in a way understand. Amanda the nutritionist, is a true pleasure to work with and a wealth of nutritional knowledge.
I love their videos as well. They do a wonderful job of explaining each new phase and expectation for each new month. Plus I can rewatch them again and again if I need to.
Take it from someone who has “been there” and “done that”, this program works! I am so thankful God directed me to them.

Dr. Pearce changed my life. This is not an exaggeration. I am young and was diagnosed with thyroid disease in my early 20's due to the consequences of BII. I spent all of my 20's being told by doctor's that my levels were fine and the rest was up to me. Due to Dr. Pearce and Journey to Wellness, I was able to balance my hormones and get to the root of my issues. I felt like a new person within a month of integrating their lifestyle changes based on thorough test results.

After 5 months, I became pregnant after my body started to heal. This had not been possible before. If you are tired of doing everything right (eating clean and exercising) but are still unable to feel better and manage weight gain this should be the last stop on your road to recovery.

I love Dr. Shannyn! She is so informative and caring. I completely trust her wisdom and plan to get my hormones balanced and to gain my health back. After one month on plan I’m already seeing improvement. Thank you for all you and the great staff at Millpond Wellness do! Traditional medical maintenance care had failed to improve my overall health. I had patiently tried multiple routines and medications with no significant improvement in my health.It was time for a new approach. I have been under the guidance of the team at Millpond Wellness Center for only 2.5 months and have had major improvements. I no longer require any of my prior prescribed medications and feel so much better. I feel confident that My health will continue to improve. It has been years since my body has functioned so well and I feel better than I have felt in years thanks to the team at Millpond Wellness Center.

I love the patient centered atmosphere. I like doing the exercises before my adjustment so that loosens me up. I always get a great adjustment. Everyone at the center is very personable and interested in you as an individual. The staff is interested in your whole health as an individual not just where you need adjusted. They can address any specific health problem you ask and if they do not know the answer to the question they will get the answer for you. I love the energy the staff exudes and loving supporting attitude that I see. I like the fact that you can get your testing done at the center… X-rays, blood tests, etc. I love the Christian music they play! Dr. Justin, Dr. Shannon, and Dr. Miller all have their areas of expertise… Between the three of them they will find the answer to what ever questions you have. They have helped my whole family toward a better road to health.
