  Good work, speedy job, reasonable price, nice guy! As hard as it is in NOVA to get good contractors who are interested in getting your job done quickly and at a good value - folks like Tom at Lyons really stand out in a good way. Definitely recommend.

  After some recent heavy rains, we discovered a roof leak (it was dripping through our bathroom ceiling), and called a roofing contractor that we had previously used. They said they couldn’t get out until the following week and that would only be for an estimate, and then it would take several weeks more to repair because of their schedule. They recommended Lyons for faster service. We called Lyons, Contracting and they sent Mike S. out the next day. Mike quickly diagnosed the likely place of the leak and applied a patch. Mike also said that we were to give him a call after the next heavy rain to let him know if any water was still coming in. There was a slight amount of water coming in and Mike returned and replaced two roofing boards that had received water damage over time. Mike again wanted us to call after the next rain with a status. This time there was no leak. We commend Mike and Lyons Contracting for their quick, professional response to our leaking roof problem. Bottom Line: when you have a leak in your roof, you need fast, quality repairs to prevent further damage. Lyons Contracting and specifically Mike S. provided that. Our overall impression of Mike was of an individual with a lot of integrity and experience and definitely a “Go To” guy for roofing needs. You can’t go wrong with Mike.

  Tom and Vernon were great to work with when I needed help during all the rain we have been having. They came out, provided an estimate of the work to be completed and why it was needed and accomplished the work in a timely manner. Due to the time it took to get materials, they also did a temporary patch immediately so that the leaking roof would no longer leak. Highly recommend Lyons Contracting.

  I recently used Lyons to repair the flashing around my chimneys. This past September, after all the rain, there was leaks in the Crilings in my living room and den around where the chimneys are. I was about to go on vacation two days before I discovered the leaks. I called a number of roofers and it was very difficult to get someone to talk to me, much less come out to look at it. Michael at Lyons was considerate, talked to me, and agreed to come out even though he was busy. He did a temporary repair which I appreciated since a hurricane was coming. After the rains stopped, Michael came out and completed the repairs. He went the extra mile. There was a heavy rain after the repair from hurricane Michael. No leaks! Great work. Thanks!

  Awesome all around! A quick, friendly answering of my call, a tech called me very shortly after, and then showed up the same day. Communication was great and service was fast. Mike came out and was great - very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I highly recommend and wish they did more than roofing - with their speed, communication, & honesty, I'd hire for any job!
