Chris was great - He greeted us and seated us outdoors. Our first time here, so he explained everything to us! We had Fish & Chips and Sesame Seared Yellow Tail Tuna. Oh we also had their 1 and only dessert. That may have been the best but everything was very good! I was told the do have a Happy Hour everyday, too! We'll be back!
Decent food, very attentive service. Got the fish tacos which had good flavor but the slaw made the tortillas soggy :( the Mac and cheese was pretty good though. Cauliflower and fried squid appetizers were a solid 4/5. Would come again to try more things on the menu!
This new restaurant is busy. Make reservations if you don't want to sit outside. Sitting at the bar is cool. The bartenders are friendly and you get sneak peek at the kitchen. The food was plated well and filling. The calamari was chewable. The decor is cool and informative.
They're finally opened!! I'm not sure what I was expecting upon arrival as far as the restaurant food, atmosphere, and crowd control. When I first arrived it was quite empty, better for me! To the side of the restaurant they had booth inspired seating that looked more like large swings. If I had to describe the interior as a whole, I'd describe like being at a beach house - bright, airy, reflective and comfortable.
Now let's get to the food & service. George assisted me most of my dining experience and was so nice. The food came out in a decent time and was very tasty!!
For an appetizer I ordered the firecracker cauliflower (HIGHLY SUGGEST). The have a customizable entree option that you can choose your type of fish, sauce and sides. I decided to go with the Yellowfin Tuna with Lemongrass Aji + Asapargus, Cauliflower Mash and Cucumber Tomato Salad. Pretty sure there was nothing left by the time I was finished. Prices were fairly reasonable and I felt you got the amount of food for what you paid for.
So excited for this place to officially open on Friday! This outpost of a NYC staple fills a much needed (sustainable!) seafood void in Arlington. Everything we enjoyed was fresh and served promptly. I loved the prickly pear margarita and you can’t leave without trying the churro ice cream sandwich. Will be back soon!
