  Have been going to this clinic with my fur babies for about 8 months. Dr Hamett is the best and his staff is truly great they truly love their jobs and know their patients. Cared for my Lab Bo Diddly like he was their pet as well as my family. Love this vet clinic.

  Dr. Hammer is an excellent veterinarian. He loves animals and is an excellent surgeon. His assistant Trish is caring and very knowledgeable. They both have pets of their own and understand what it is to be pet parents.

  I'd driven past many times when we lived in Spotsylvania but hadn't taken our dog there until yesterday. Unfortunately Max had liver cancer and it was too advanced to do anything but stop his suffering. Dr. Hammett was extremely kind and compassionate toward Max, but also to my family and me. He clearly explained everything including our options. The two ladies working for him at the clinic were incredibly kind as well. It is a very sad thing to have to lose a family pet, but Animal Clinic of Caroline is a very caring facility and the entire staff are very professional while at the same time are loving to your pet and you. Their love for pets and for their work is readily apparent. I would highly recommend them and wish we'd taken our dog there much sooner.
