Best sandwich I've had in a long time! Awesome, friendly staff, they make you feel like family.
The daily lunch deals are delicious and very inexpensive. Today I got Bangers and mash and green beans, with two rolls and an iced tea for $7.99! Check the photo.
Nice pub! Stopped in to check out their lunch specials, couple people had referred me to there said the food was very good, I checked out the menu while waiting quite a great selection of sandwiches Pizza etc, I had the Nathan's chili cheese hot dog and fries was very good, the staff was very friendly and the cook, I definitely will be back highly recommend! 👍
Normally I'd take pictures of my food but I forgot this time as I had my hands full with the infant. However, their tuna sub, was great, they're buffalo chicken dip was also very good. I had the French dip as well. The flavors were on point, my only criticism is that the roast beef on the French dip would be so much better if it was shaved or much more thinly cut. I had two whiskey and Coke doubles, and my co-partner had two dirty Shirley's. My infant had a grilled cheese, and I know it sounds easy but the grilled cheese was probably the best grilled cheese I have seen my kids get from anywhere else. All the patrons at the Sub & Pub, we're great!
I would not hesitate to go back in a second, and would urge anyone to also return.
Plus anyone that is looking for a pleasant good mannered and easy on the eye bartender, should go check it out and support her.
First time ordering for pick up, since I had my second shot and absolutely was not gonna cook. Been jonesing for a Cuban Sandwich, so that's what I googled to find a place.
Total winner. Kids ate well (son tried his first BBQ sandwich and killed it, daughter had a BLT because we knew she's pick it apart and eat the components). BLT had a ton of good looking bacon, and the bbq had a serious amount of roasted pork--the overflow was probably enough to make another sandwich.
ETA: He totally did it.
The cubans weren't traditional pressed sandwiches, but that wasn't a surprise since they're listed as hoagies. The rolls are crusty without being tough, with a good flavor. There wasn't any sogginess, probably because the mustard was on top of the fillings (sort of a problem for take out, since it gets smeared around when the hoagie is wrapped up). Again, the pork was awesome. Not greasy at all, but not dry either (some places do pulled pork and the meat is sawdust--this is not that). It's well seasoned and tasty enough to grab and eat by itself, and I don't think any of us had any fatty/grisly pieces. They were definitely full enough that I was pleased and didn't feel like we overpaid.
We're excited to have discovered the Arbor and will definitely be back!
