In Sept 2010, I started a weight loss program at Tidewater Bariatrics. I lost 70 lbs in 20 weeks and made dramatic and lasting lifestyle changes. With the right mix of support and accountability, Dr. Gaglione and her wonderful staff helped me accomplish something that is so elusive to so many dieters - rapid weight loss followed by long-term weight maintenance. I took up cycling as my primary form of physical activity and have completed two cross-country bicycle rides (2012 & 2013). If you need to lose weight and learn how to maintain a healthy weight, Tidewater Bariatrics will change your life!

Tidewater Bariatrics saved my life. I was 27 and weighed close to 200lbs at 4'10". Dr. Maggie Gaglione, the medical director, knows what she's talking about! I followed the plan that she and her staff laid out for me and I lost 80lbs in a year. Tidewater Bariatrics does a great job of not only helping you lose weight, but also educating you on proper nutrition and how to maintain your weight once you get to your goal. I went from couch potato to marathon runner! I've run 3 half marathons with plans to run another half marathon and my first full marathon in the next six weeks!
