Wellington at Western Branch Apartments

  We have officially been here 6 months and I always wait that long before I write a review. So overall we love the apartment and the staff that work in the office as well as all of the maintenance team and unit cleaners. There are a million great things I could write but I will highlight my favorites. The layout of the apartment and the square footage for what we pay is outstanding. We have the one bedroom with the den. The den is like the size of a second bedroom so its perfect for my husband who does all of his work from home. And its far enough away from the living room that you don't feel to far away but far enough to have space if needed. The kitchen is a little cumbersome in ours but that is because our pantry is hidden by the fridge so we don't really have full access. The ac works fine, but if you let it slip away as in you turn it to 70 in the summer it will sit probably at about 74. On cooler nights the massive windows provide ample enough circulation to where you dont need to have the ac running at all. Unfortunately our sink when moving in has gunk on the left side of it that will not go away no matter how hard I scrub so it leaves an uneven finish on the bathroom sink but still thats minor. We got lucky because our neighbors are fantastic and we can never hear what they are doing once inside of the apartment. You will only ever hear your neighbors if you're in the stairwell. The dumpsters located at every corner pretty much are a blessing because when you first move in and have all the boxes to throw away there is always room. The garbage men come like every other day so its never really full. Parking on the other hand is a little rough sometimes because there are not assigned spots which is good if you have people over or if you have multiple cars, your family members won't struggle being sent to the other side of the complex trying to find guest parking. Bad side is that if you come home after 9pm there's not parking normally or its super far from your building. There are a couple abandoned cars that take up spots and they don't seem to care about towing them so thats frustrating. When I say abandoned I mean state sticker and inspection both bad months ago. Tires flat to the ground. Just unmoved cars lol. Also never had a bug problem either. Never seen a roach or ants inside of the stairwell or our unit.
  
  Now the super pro of this entire complex is the staff. The maintance team are super sweet and come and fix things but also if its something you could do yourself they will explain whats wrong and educate you on what they are doing as they do it.
  
  Carol in the leasing office is nothing short of an angel. If you get the chance to speak to Carol in your apartment process you will be nothing less than pleased. I have never run into her or got a call from her where she seemed annoyed or bothered. She will wave when she sees you. She will remember your name and she will always smile. She's empathetic and she always seems to care about what you're talking about. There was a time that we were still shopping around for apartments but after meeting Carol (and the other staff members who are great as well) we knew that our search was over.

  BEST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER!! YOU CANNOT BEAT WHAT YOU GET FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY.. FRIENDLY AND AMAZING STAFF. GREAT QUALITY OF LIVING. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE!!!!!

  What a great place! Very nice and reasonably priced. The staff is amazing to work with. Very good for disabled and elderly, too. We love it here.

  Wellington Apartments is a fantastic apartment complex! The management staff is always ready to help with any request. Their communication to tenants in regards to property updates are given well in advance. The maintenance staff keeps the grounds, and the hall/stairwell interior of the buildings super clean, even the public dryer lint filters are clean! They have office holiday theme "open houses" during the different seasons, and pool parties at the beginning and ending of the summer. My utility bills were exceptionally low; I believe this is due to great installation, and I am careful not to waste. My electric bill was never over $28 (single person/two bedrooms). No bugs or mice to be spotted. If you have ever had a bad experience at an apartment complex, you will not have to fear that it will be repeated here! And, they have won awards to back it up! I highly recommend this community. Good luck with your move!
