(June 10, 2019, 7:01 am)Beautiful and admission is free. There is a gravel road meandering through the grounds for riding bikes or walking. Drive it if you must, but walking is so much better. Trees are labeled with genus and common names. Grab a brochure for a map of which trees are where. There's a maples section, a rose family section, boxwood garden, herb garden, etc etc. A few picnic tables are scattered around. The gingko trees are spectacular in autumn. Iris garden, jonquil lawn and dogwood alley are rites of spring at the arboretum. And the ephemeral lake, and willow pond, huge pine trees, it never ends. Open year round.

(May 24, 2019, 8:31 am)Beautiful grounds showcasing some unusual trees. There is also a fun loop to drive with stops at Chestnut Tree experimental patches and a Cedar of Lebanon Alley. Those are both endangered tree types they are working to protect.

(March 28, 2019, 5:50 pm)Great place to wander around the rolling fields and trails of the property. Frequently see people having family portraits taken or senior photos or engagement pictures. An excellent place to walk your dog and explore the grounds. Lots of well labeled trees for those who enjoy identifying species they might not know already.
