Empowered Martial Arts Academy

We have nothing but great things to say about the Empowered Martial Arts Academy and their After School program. Our kids attended the after school and summer camp programs for a few years since the former Dynamis Martial Arts location and have been very happy there. Our 3rd grade son currently attends after care and Ms. Pyne and Master Danielle take great care of him and all his needs. The Empowered transportation picks him up from school without issues. Also, the current location is very convenient with plenty of parking. We know our son can be a handful so we are grateful for all the hard work they put in to look after him on a daily basis.

My 7 yo has been taking Taekwondo at Empowered for about 4 months and it’s been a great experience. She was reluctant to join in at first and Master Danielle was very patient with her as she got used to it. She has progressed so quickly- she can now do splits, kicks about her head and has gained so much confidence and earned her white belt. So far, we’ve only done the Martial Arts classes with master Danielle and master Lee, but we are looking forward to summer camp with Empowered. We haven’t needed it yet, but it’s reassuring to know that we can take advantage of before and after school care if we need it with someone we trust. I’m glad we’ve found Master Danielle so that my kiddo can learn martial arts in a positive environment where they remember that she’s a kid first, and I have peace of mind knowing that she’s safe and cared for and being treated well while she learns the valuable lessons of discipline, integrity, indomitable spirit and strength.

We had no idea what to do when we realized that our son would not make it off the waiting list for SACC before and after school programs, until a neighbor told us about Master Danielle. My son absolutely loves Empowered and is happy to go there every morning. He really enjoys participating in Taekwondo. Master Danielle has such a warm, gentle way of interacting with her students. We’re super grateful for her and her program, and plan on sending our son to the Empowered Academy summer camp as well.

Empowered Martial Arts has boosted my daughter’s confidence! We tried some before and after schools programs but the positive and caring culture of this program makes it extraordinary. Master Danielle and the staff acknowledge each student and help them develop their skills while assisting them with school curriculum. The after school program includes outstanding martial arts classes and we are looking forward to their summer camp.

She is now in fourth grade and is expecting to get her black belt soon. She is always eager to go and comes home with a smile on her face, telling me about all the fun she had. Master Danielle is very nurturing, patient, and talented. She works well with kids of all abilities and temperaments. This studio is truly a hidden gem.
