My son has been attending Laiba's home daycare for almost two years, since the day I returned to work from maternity leave. As soon as he walks in in the morning he smiles from ear to ear and runs off to play with his friends. Laiba and Samina truly love all the kids there and are an extended family. They are great at soliciting feedback and working towards the same goals with us. A couple of times I pointed out something my son was struggling with - they immediately focused on those particular skills and we could see improvements the same week! Overall it has been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend.
The overall experience of my child had been excellent all 3 years. The teachers are very nice. If I hadn’t moved I would have kept my child under this daycare. A very solid and worth while experience.
My 21 month year old has been attending this day care for a year now and we are extremely happy with his progress. It's a safe & nurturing environment and completely focused on teaching advanced curriculum to the kids right from the early age. I totally recommend this day care.
I have three kids who currently attend Laiba's home day care. My six year old daughter goes to a Fairfax county elementary school, however she joins Laiba's program during the summer. Her time with Laiba has been very beneficial for learning advanced math concepts, such has multiplication and squares. My four year son began with a basic knowledge of his ABCs and now he can write legibly, read at a 1st grade level and sound out the spelling of three and four letter words. Laiba consistently tests the children on their spelling skills, and also emphasizes handwriting. If a younger student wants to join an older student on a lesson, they are welcome to give it a try. It's Montessori-style learning at its best.
In addition, the day care balances work and play - both indoor and outdoor. Computer-based activities are often used, and the kids also learn Spanish vocabulary on a weekly basis. Lunch and snacks are provided, in addition to breakfast, if needed. I highly recommend Laiba's day care for any parent who wants to challenge their child from an early age.
