I am a recent graduate from Mr. Lee’s studio, and of all my past teachers, musical and academic, he holds a special place in my heart for all he helped me accomplish. His musical abilities, knowledge, and passions surpass that of any person I’ve previously met. His unique ability to connect my scientific and academic interests to the musical world and theory made me eager to learn from him and excited for each new lesson. Mr. Lee encouraged my desire to continually learn more by giving me challenging music while teaching not only about music, but its history as well. He taught perseverance while constructively challenging me to become a better clarinetist and musician, displaying my strengths and helping me work through my weaknesses. Overall, I grew in more ways than I can explain, and my journey through middle school to high school and college would not have been the same without the constant encouragement and wisdom Mr. Lee shared with me during my lessons, of which I still hold on to in my daily life. I highly recommend Mr. Lee for any student who wants to be taught by the best clarinet teacher around. He will help you grow to become the wonderful clarinetist you’ve always dreamed to be, and more. You will form a desire to work hard, and the finished product will be worth the extra effort. Thank you Mr. Lee for all you taught me on my journey as your student, and for seeing my potential through it all.

Mr. Lee is capable of explaining everything very clearly, from music theory to instrument mechanism. his lesson is fun, intensive and challenging. Having one on one lesson and conversation with him is a unique experience and mental training for the students. My son has been taking lessons with him for more than two years, and thinks Mr. Lee is smart and funny. Mr. Lee is also very organized, during each lesson, the progress and assignments are clearly documented. He is a clarinet master, during the teaching years he has developed a systematic way of training and exercise, and it is ready to be published as a book.

My son has been with Mr. Lee for two years and we are very happy with him. Mr. Lee is very well-organized. He sets goals for my son and informs him regularly what progress he has made and what he has yet to do to make those goals. Mr. Lee is also a detail-oriented and articulate instructor. He plays along with my son at lessons and gives detailed, note by note instruction on each piece. A strict and encouraging teacher, Mr. Lee has been extremely helpful in boosting my son's momentum as a clarinetist. We are very grateful for the progress my son has made in the past two years and wish we had joined his studio earlier.
