  Don't be tempted to buy everything on Amazon or REI when there is a local bike shop here with good prices and great personalized help. For some reason, we missed the fact that this bike shop is very close to our neighborhood (for too long). We were trying to catch the last good riding weather days of fall but did not have the tool to install a trailer hitch for a bike rack. We emailed Rats Cycles to see if there was any chance they could do it, and they could! Christian went out of his way to help us, even working on the installation while we left the car to attend a family dinner. After we used the new bike rack, we came back to the shop with a question about transporting our daughter's bike. Matthew gave us a tip that saved us $40 on an unnecessary adapter that we had purchased at REI. They did not ignore us for being amateurs with a kid (as happens at other bike shops that just want to sell $$$$ bikes). In fact, it seems like they just want to help people enjoy riding at whatever your level is. Don't be put off by the lack of inventory at the Huntsman shop. They can order whatever you need, and the advantage would be that they could have recommended exactly what we needed to suit our level of family riding. I wish I would have known this before we purchased everything from Big Box store, but nevertheless, they were still happy to help us install and work with that equipment. Overall, very nice personalized service. Highly recommend. Shop local!

  Great local place! Matt converted my bike into an E-bike. I use it daily as a commuter. I highly recommend this shop!

  Can't recommend this shop highly enough. Went in for a tire change on my mountain bike and was welcomed with years of experience and an obvious love and passion for bikes. I left with my new tires and an desire to come back. Planning to work with Rats Cycles when the time comes to buy a road bike. This is the place to go for anyone interested in cycling; whether it's buying your first bike or looking for an upgrade. Go here before considering any major purchases elsewhere.

  These guys are the best!! Fixed and tuned up my fitness bike - fast and affordable! Then they fixed and tuned up my daughters electric razor pocket mod- again- VERY affordable. Super nice guys running a conveniently located business. I wish them the very best! And send a huge Thank You!!????????????

  I needed some minor repairs after a recent wreck. Matt gave me an honest estimate of repair time and cost and he came under on both. He walked me through the repairs and explained any minor adjustments I might need to make. The bike now rides better than new. I would definitely recommend Rats Cycles for repairs.
