Spent a relaxing couple of hours here, birding with longtime friends we hadn't seen in decades. Lovely park with a great boardwalk. I imagine the spring and early fall months are great for birding
Fun trail through the western Henrico swamp lands. Lots of turtles, fish and dragonflies.
This is such a pleasant little boardwalk! An absolute hidden gem, the scenery is surprisingly good, parking is easy to find, and the trail is well maintained. I highly recommend this place for all it offers.
Stunning views if you love nature walks! A nice contemplative spot to relax and regroup!
This pretty trail is perfect for morning and evening strolls. A railed plank over a marshland that has plenty of lotus leaves and trees, makes it a world of its own, distinctly different from the neighborhoods on either end of the trail. Will try to visit in June/July to see the lotuses bloom. There are benches along the trail to sit and enjoy the sunset.
