Canterbury Community Nursery School

My wife found Canterbury Community Nursery School and I'm really glad she did her research. We toured the school and my wife and I fell in love instantly. We stopped our search and asked to register. Open time sold us. I saw two kids walking hand in hand and I asked a mom if they were related and she said, "no, this place is magical."

Canterbury Community Nursery School teachers are remarkable! Their dedication to my children through creativity, learning through play and Open Time makes my children LOVE school! What a gift to have found Canterbury in RVA!

We were so fortunate that our son was able to attend Canterbury before beginning kindergarten this year. This school has got it right with play-based learning, an open-minded culture, and lots of fun.

I love this Nursery school! My son was fortunate to attend this school several years ago and it continues to be the most innovative program in the area. The team's approach to early childhood development is key in developing well rounded, self confident children in such a warm, loving and fun environment. The schools director, Mia White, has created an amazing program encompassing all the key elements for successful childhood learning along with a unique and creative enrichment program. Definitely the place to be!
