  When we moved to Ashburn, I was in my third trimester pregnant and far from any family or friends. Our little family prayerfully began a search to find a church home. Cross Current- the people- were affirmed to be the ones God was calling us to serve alongside. Six years later, we still love them and consider them family. Each week the incredible band, Bible-rich messages, and opportunity to uniquely contribute weaves us more closely together towards the common goal of making the name of Jesus known and experienced.

  After visiting more than 10 churches in the area without the finding the right fit for our family, Cross Current was welcoming, uplifting and inspiring when we needed it the most. The welcome team and pastor got to know us quickly and invited us to find OUR place in the church, where we felt comfortable and empowered. The praise band is incredible and the children's ministry leaders are accommodating, inclusive and understanding. We are so thrilled to have found a home at Cross Current.

  My wife and I had been looking for a church home when she bumped into an old friend . As they talked our friend started talking about the church she went to, how great it was, how much she liked the pastor, etc. Turns out the church was meeting at Trailside Middle School real close to our house. We tried it out a few weeks before Easter and have been attending ever since. The folks who attend Cross Current are friendly and outgoing. There is a big focus on the kid's program and you can tell the kids love it. The band is great and the music and singing are worshipful. But the best part of Sunday morning is the preaching. Excellent Bible teaching that is current and relevant to my life. I strongly recommend Cross Current to anyone looking for a church.

  So proud to be a part of this awesome church! My kids love it as well. My youngest (age 7) son attends the children’s ministry and my older daughter (age 13) participates in the youth group. We are blessed to have amazing leadership for our children as they grow in their relationship with Jesus and build quality friendships with other children who have the same morals and values.
  
  For the adults, we are equally blessed to be led by the wisdom of our Pastors. Their knowledge and ability to illustrate the teachings of the Bible so that we can understand how it relates to life today, is inspiring and powerful.
  
  We consider our Cross Current family an extension of our own and look forward to years of growing and sharing life together. If you are looking for a church to call home, you are welcome here!

  I've been attending Cross Current for about 1.5 years now and its just awesome. I was a single guy living in Ashburn and had no idea that Cross Current was just minutes away from where I was living at the time. Now I live in Leesburg and its a short 10 minute commute, so its very accessible.
  
  Cross Current is the first church I've ever attended so I don't have much basis for comparison. However, the love and care and friendship and joy that I've experienced at this place reminds me every time I walk through the doors that God has me right where He wants me.
  
  I'm 30 (the new 20!) and I'm surrounded by both wisdom and relationship at Cross Current. The preaching is excellent, and God always provides our Pastors with a word that is relevant, edifying, insightful, and PRACTICAL.
  
  I hope to see you there one Sunday. Ask for Herman!
