Both of my daughters and I go to see separate therapists, dealing with the death of their mom. Everyone from the office manager, receptionist to all our therapists and my girls drs and very thoughtful, they listen and are very involved with all of us. They even helped me get custody of my wife's girls. They fought hard for us. They are patient and understanding. And they are very polite. Never had an issue with getting calls returned or rescheduling an appt. I've never had an issue with billing, it comes out in the wash. Most of the time it is the insurance company.
I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Would be five stars if the office could properly return phone calls. Lack of expedited refill of benzos landed me in the ER because the doc decided I shouldn't have anything until June which is fine but at least give an anxiety alternative in the meanwhile their are many non-abuse potential/non-scheduled meds Dr. Ansari could give in the meanwhile. I'm lucky I didn't have a seizure and was discharged from the ER but I've had panic attacks from hell since I've run out of Valium. Definitely needs to take medication more seriously. I feel like I only see this Dr because he's the only one that understands and I have worked with Ansari for a long time so I like him but just wish he could be more prompt and not leave me hanging in a pit of firey anxiety induced by the medication I ran out of early that he could not refill early. As a CPRS patient I have no time for this non-sense. My back is in worse than labor pain 24/7 and is OPIOID RESISTANT and only even kind of goes away if I take oral Ketamine perscribed by a Pain Management doc(Also infusions soon). So being in anxiety makes my already uncomfortable life nearly unbelievabley unbearable. If I could do it all over I never would have wanted a benzo for my anxiety but that is on me as a patient for insisting so keep that in mind WHEN READING THE REVIEW that I am far from the perfect patient so take what I am saying with a grain of salt but for the most part I'm pleased with the doctor and results minus the recent hiccup.
I've been going here for about a year. I have never had any issues with billing or appointments, even when my insurance has changed. I love the psychologist I see, Dr. Ruth. Front desk staff is great. I also see a psychiatrist for medication. No complaints. My husband goes here too.
Pretty good, certainly better at returning calls and making sure you can see your therapist regularly than any other psychologist we have ever attempted to go to.
Took both my children at separate times, for separate issues, first did not click super well with the counselor, however he was a sensitive and kind guy - and that was affirming for my one child. Second was also sensitive and logical person, and I do think was effective for my other child. The practice did recognize the couple times my son (with other health issues) simply had to cancel at the last minute due to illness, and after applying for an exception they removed the missed appt charges. (Which were pretty steep, but if you figure they have to cover the appt cost, and can't process via insurance, the charge kind of makes sense).
