Yes they are one of the most loving and kind people i have ever come to deal with not only do they do great work but as employers they'll definitely take care of there workers.
JJ&K, owned by John and Kim Powell, have done many projects for us over the years, including our kitchen, master bath, and hall bathroom. John works to keep his prices reasonable for his customers, and, overall, his guys do very good work. Our master bathroom is stunning and we couldn’t be more pleased. Check out their website to see examples of their work. Please note: If you are looking for a fancy designer with brochures and a portfolio on his or her laptop, JJ&K is not the company for you. However, if you are looking for someone to do basic to more moderate, labor-intensive remodels, JJ&K is a great company to work with.
I own a house that was built in 1960 in Falls Church, VA. We had a galley kitchen with no room to do much of anything. We contacted JJ&K along with other highly rated remodeling companies and decided to go with JJ&K because of their references and the price that was given to us worked with our budget. We opened up walls to make a beautiful kitchen and dining area. We got custom cabinets and granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances. The owners of JJ&K, John and Kim, worked with us so that we could do the kitchen the way that we wanted it to be done. Our experience with JJ&K was pleasant from beginning to end. We are very happy and we would hire them and recommend them again to do any of our friends. John is a big man with a deep voice but he is very honest and for anyone to say something demeaning about his character is very upsetting. He's always done what he said he would do and then some. Kim is just a doll.
