  Had only a hot minute to pop in for small snacks to bring to Mi Contessa (as she enjoyed a moment with the dawg in the nearby park) before moving along in the beautiful day. Stopping in Ford’s Fish Shack? Proved to be a huuuge blessing!

  Good choices of savory shrimp with beans, and fried fish with crisp, thin french-fries. Both sizable meals served up to-go nicely packaged. A treat, indeed!

  Love Fords!!! Their food is fresh and tasty. Reminds me of the Great American Restaurants with their rolls, shrimp, smoked salmon dishes. We love the food and will always come back!

  There are a lot of mixed reviews for the Lansdowne location but I had a great visit. The steamed shrimp appetizer was very good, nice and tender and perfectly spiced. I had not had their rolls yet so I went with that, especially after my server said they could prepare a Surf 'n Turf lobster roll with filet mignon tips. It wasn't on the menu so I'm glad he mentioned it. It was very good! Service was top notch, as usual.

  So I stop in for happy hour when I first move here ... decent drink prices... decent appetizers. Bartender was great she was very attentive. Today we stop in and had the fish and chips (good tartar sauce) and the Black Sea Bass (the Special), both were outstanding. I was actually a little surprised. Our waitress was really good making the experience more inviting. Will definitely be back again.... For nothing else for the fish and chips.

  Nice atmosphere and friendly hostesses. The waitress (Teresa) was helpful and quick to refill drinks. The clam chowder was creamy with a good balance of potatoes and clams. It had good flavor.
  The fish and chips were delicious. Flaky, perfectly cooked fish with nicely crispy batter. I'm usually not a fan of thin fries, but theses were cooked well and not overly crispy. Had the five layer chocolate cake for desert and it was delicious...not too sweet with a good chocolate flavor. Highly recommended!
