Pure Hockey

Have been to this Pure Hockey before, but always for myself. It’s a 2 1/2 hour drive from where we live in Chesterfield, but today I came in and brought my high energy 4 year old twin boys to get them skates to start learning. I received great help from Ilya in sizing and selecting skates for them. He followed it up by taking their requests on lace colors, and took the time to string in some custom colored laces for them before sharpening each pair for me. This gave me time to shop more, and I ended up selecting some sticks, a full size goal, some practice pucks and balls, and some rolls of tape. Andre rung me up and answered all additional questions for me. All in all very happy with my experience and will return to pick up hockey gear from this location.

The staff were fantastic and helped me pick out a great new pair of ice skates. They took the time to explain differences in the various models and helped me find a pair with a great fit.

We came to this store for goalie equipment. This place was awesome and a wonderful help. We drove over 3 hours to this store since we don't have goalie gear in our small town.
I don't know much about goalie gear and Jared was a big help. Very knowledgeable with helping my son get sized. He answered all my questions. He was a goalie himself, so the fact that he works there and knows what he is doing was wonderful and gave my son some helpful tips.
Thank you Jared and pure hockey. So glad we came here. Well worth the trip.

My fiancé and I drove 3.5 hours to get his hockey gear. After being thoroughly disappointed with our local gear supplier, we felt there was nothing to lose traveling out of the area to get the necessary equipment. This store has anything you want or need, hockey wise. What really made the experience outstanding was Bobby! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and beyond personable. Bobby really went above and beyond making sure all of the equipment fit just right. That man needs a serious promotion!

The store itself is pretty good, unless you’re looking for goalie equipment. They used to have a much bigger and more diversified stock. Now the limited models they carry are all fit-stock, which means you cannot buy it at the store only try it on then order online. It still gets four stars though, because every time we come in TJ takes care of my goalie with great advice and finds something that will work for him.
