The Proper Barbershop at Ironclad

Some of the best barbers I have found. I tried stylists all over Hampton Roads and don't plan to ever go anyplace else. John is very professional in the way he runs the business and is 100% customer focused. They offer a wide range of services and prices are in line with the service provided.

I have been using the Proper Barbershop for a few years now. Kayla is my normal barber, and is freaking amazing. While she was out on maternity leave some of the other barbers cut my hair and beard, and did an awesome job. The owner texts you with any updates concerning you appointment, and is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Juleika did an amazing job, will be coming back for sure. I received and great cut and beard trim. Anywhere else I have been in the past doesn't compare. If you are looking for a new spot look no further!

I absolutely love this place! And it’s location is hard to be, right next to Ironclad Distillery Co., where you can grab a wonderful bourbon while waiting to get your haircut and your beard trimmed . I always have Kayla do my hair and she never disappoints. Best haircuts ever!

Kayla was an absolute gem. I am being 100% honest when I say this is the best haircut/beard trim I have ever had. She is very attentive, asked me several times during my hair cut and beard trim on how I wanted things and if everything was to my liking. I can't speak highly enough of her.....I never really care who cuts my hair but from now on I will always go to Kayla. That's not to say the other barbers aren't good you can tell they take pride in their work and I didn't see a single bad haircut walk out. Treat yourself and have real professionals make you look your best.
