Awesome .Incredible. Every American needs to come here .
Young and old .
God ,I love this country . I am full of joy .
Wait until you see everything here ,its just fantastic .
Our Military is the greatest!
Also if you get tired and hungry from walking around,
They serve food upstairs in the Tun Tavern. There is a cafeteria for families with children. .
And the Restrooms aren't far away .
With an experienced staff eager to spend time talking to you about past and present events .
Some of the staff are retired military.
They know a thing or two.
The most excellent management here .
A real nice gift shop .
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff are here to serve and answer questions.
God ,please bless our great country .
The Marine Corps museum is above and beyond my expectations. Need a couple of days to really appreciate all of the artifacts and displays. Definitely take the guided tour. The docents are very knowledgeable and help you to understand the museum better than doing it on your own. Also very thoughtful children's sections.
This is a museum that everybody should try and visit. The displays are top-notch and very informative. The entire Museum does a great job of conveying the story of the United States Marines and their place in American history. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions that you may have. Very clean and always a lot to do.
Awesome place to learn more about the marines. My family has ties to air force, army, and navy so it’s nice to learn about the marines too. The museum was well thought out and the exhibits educational and visually attractive. There were a few parts that were like you were walking through WW1 and Korean War which were loud and possibly scary for small children. Totally worth a visit and I plan to bring my parents back to check it out!
My brother is a marine so it was very interesting to visit this Museum with him and his family.
I have to mention the design of the museum is quite spectacular. It looks like it is soaring out of the ground.
It looks like it is situated on a huge piece of land. Make sure you walk around the building on the grounds because there are many other different things to see.
The museum is very large and has many informational and extremely well done exhibits.
The museum starts off at the beginning of the Marines, and goes all the way to current day explaining how the Marine Corps started and what it is doing now.
When I say that the exhibits are extremely well done I really mean it. The WWII exhibit, and the Vietnam exhibit make me cry due to its information and its detail.
Plan to spend the majority of your day here.
