  I highly recommend Mike, Favian, and the team at MJA for HVAC and water heater replacement. My HVAC system completely broke one day after Thanksgiving. With a toddler and a newborn at home, we were scrambling to find help. Mike came to our home on a Sunday afternoon after he just returned from vacation. He assessed our system, explained the issues (which were many), and walked us through the process to install a hybrid system. Mike is very detailed and loves his job and his excitement is contagious. He wants you to be a part of the process especially since it is an expensive investment (but the price is high with any company). Mike and Favian removed the old system, showed us the major issues we had, and completed the job in 3 days. The two of them also addressed other issues with our exhaust/pipes, which was a great added bonus. I should also add that they had the heat back on within one day so we weren’t cold. The new system is very energy efficient and runs near silent. All our rooms stay the same temperature unlike before with the “standard HVAC” and even the air smells cleaner with the UV filter system. The humidifier is great. So long room-size humidifiers. My skin does not dry out and the whole family sleeps better with the set humidity. I can’t overstate how great the home feels. If you need to get a new HVAC system, I would recommend no one else with such a big expense. Hands down, MJA delivered and we are thankful we invested our money in their system.

  I had MJA Design do a complete HVAC renovation converting from a broken AC unit and oil furnace to a highly-efficient heat pump. Mike and his team are professional and knowledgeable. I am truly impressed by his passion to create the best possible solution for your needs, at a reasonable cost. Overall I am pleased with the quality of service, craftsmanship, and expertise of MJA Design and would highly recommend them for your next home project.

  Outstanding professionalism and customer service! Installed two new AC systems on my house in Dumfries. Installers were extremely courteous and professional. Would recommend MJA Design to anyone!

  In this summer heat, we are so happy that we were taken care of a few months ago by MJA when we noticed our A/C wasn't working. It's almost 100 outside... but definitely not inside :) Last year we dealt with so many horrible A/C companies... things turned around when we called MJA. The owner came out and explained everything in terms we could understand, got us up and running super fast, and was even there for the install. Great service, great team, and a super happy (and cool) customer!

  We had Mike and his team come out to replace our hvac and water heater with new units. Mike was extremely knowledgeable which helped set us up with systems that both keeps us comfortable, saves us money, and provides some peace of mind. His team worked diligently, they were polite, clean, and always on time. We've never come across a company that provided so much at such a competitive price.
