  We have been going here for over 10 years and Dr. Trisha Metzger has been like a family member taking care of our cocker spaniels. She's nothing short of amazing and our trust and confidence in her is unquestioned. Our dogs are like children to us and we want only the best care and advice. She's amazing and saw us through a difficult time a couple of years ago when we lost our first cocker (Bettis). We recently had to put down our oldest cocker (Cowher) and Dr. Tod Vincent-Johnson had to perform the procedure as Dr. Metzger was out town. We were a bit uneasy but his kindness and compassion was very evident during this difficult time. The staff is just as amazing and I want to mention one final detail that just shows me how considerate they are. When I went to claim the ashes of Cowher, the lady didn't just slide the box across the counter, she can around the desk and placed the box in front of us. It's hard to explain how respectful that gesture was and it didn't go without notice. We appreciate the dignity they show and if you want a place that will truly care for your pets as much or more than you do, this is the place. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, compassion, and flexibility to accommodate sometimes crazy schedules.

  This is by far the best animal hospital around. Clean lobby and exam rooms, friendly staff, and multiple doctors who are all fantastic. As a past vet tech myself, I will not take my dog anywhere else.

  We are long-time clients of AGAH, and enjoy the remodeled facility. They have treated my animals compassionately, over the 20 years in their care... from guinea pigs to goats, and Dr. Taft even treats chickens! They have a large, comfortable room for those heart wrenching times when we must say goodbye, a consultation area, roomy lobby with calming fountain, TV, and free coffee station. My dogs will not stand on the corner scale at checkin... even for treats, so it's great that there are large, scale tables in the exam rooms that lower to the floor. The doctors are kind and attentive, and the vet techs are able to restrain or coax animals in ways that leave me scratching my head! We have had sad times there, and used disposal services when conditions prohibited a home burial. Cremation is an option, but not for me... too painful to have remains present. We've had surgical experiences, too. I wish, ultimately, that they offered price breaks to the elderly or low income incentives... but I remain a loyal client. I would encourage clients to make the doctor aware if there are financial concerns so they can consider options in treatment and medications used.

  Been bringing our dogs and cats here for years. Great staff, vets who care about the animals and what they do. Honest and non-judgmental.
