    A beautiful and tranquil place. We saw turtles, numerous species of birds. And a few snakes (not my favorite). It is well worth the time to walk over the dunes and view the ocean without buildings and people everywhere

    My family and I took a hike there and it wasn't very long but there was plenty to do there, it's really nice and the water is beautiful, especially from the pier and it is relaxing ti watch and listen to. The hike was full of interesting marshes and had great sites, along with insightful signs telling you about the wildlife, plants, and trees there. You could easily spend the day there. I 100% would recommend!

    You have to walk 4 miles to get to the welcome center and they don't allow dogs but other than that it is okay
