I can't recommend Dan and H&H Hardwood highly enough. From the initial evaluation to the detailed estimate to the actual work, they were consummate professionals in every way. They moved our furniture carefully, ripped out our ugly old carpet, and refinished the floors beautifully (and recommended new carpet in the areas they thought would look bad due to big flaws in the floor). When the 2019 trim took the stain quite differently from our 1897 floorboards, Dan experimented with various stains and gave me numerous samples till we found one that worked. Then they came out and meticulously restained every piece of trim. They were determined to make us happy, and they did. Great, great company to work with.

I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I had my hardwood floors refinished at two prior residences, but it was only after seeing H&H Hardwood's work that I understood what high-quality work looks like. The guys reached every nook and cranny, doing it by hand where the machines couldn't reach. They leveled any unevenness and filled every opening. The floors are about 65 years old but now look brand new. Daniel was very good with communication from start to finish. He and the two guys (Jim and John) who worked with him on the floors everyday were always polite and respectful, and they cleaned up the worksite well upon leaving every day. I would hire them again without a second thought.
