I love Dickey Ridge. Living locally it’s like the fifth mile in and across the street has a nice short couple mile hike. There’s a really old cemetery off the smaller loop that was there before it was a park. I take my kids and dogs back there all the time. It’s one of my go to spots.
Love nature what's i have been the twice. Main reason why I think we all should address climate change in our entire Planet Earth. The two people on the picture friends.
Some nice views without having to hike to them. A small museum and gift shop with souvenirs. Bathrooms are decently clean. Good stop for people who want to see the park but lack the physical ability for hiking.
Great place to stop and check in while entering the park from the north entrance. Breath taking views. Clean restrooms, gift shop, informational room. Park staff available for questions. No fees to visit here.
It was a great weather for judging and enjoying Mather-nature. Lots of happy people and tourists from all over! For me it’s about 10+ times, for my friend first time and she could not stop to take pictures, was so impressed our local beauty.
