The Tides Inn B&B is, by far, the best place I have ever stayed at. Meghan, the owner, is a complete professional who enjoys her craft. From the moment I made my reservation to my arrival, she was nothing but responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, I was welcomed into a pristine room that met my every need. I've found her entire establishment to be unique and charming without sacrificing one once of utility. She will provide you with what you need for a great stay, while making you feel right at home.
The added benefit of a stay at the Tides Inn B&B is the amenities, particularly the Tides Inn Market. The food and beverage you will find in the market are top notch! Meghan and her daughter provide an excellent culinary experience and nearly everything you'll be offered is home made and healthy. You'll be welcomed by great food and great company to boot, as this is a local hangout which is exceptionally lively, friendly, and welcoming.
Lastly, you'll be staying a short walk from the western shore of the Potomac (3 mins walking). I enjoyed a cup of coffee on the shore the first day of my stay and have continued to revel in the charm and hospitality provided by Meghan at the Tides Inn B&B.

The complimentary glass of wine or beer served in the garden/courtyard upon arriving is a great touch. The breakfast served is ALWAYS delicious, whether it be fresh blueberry pancakes with thick cut bacon and mixed fruit or artisan breakfast bangers and eggs with an assortment of pastries and jams, it’s easy to say the breakfast spread is spot on! The beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. They’re equipped with tv’s and mini fridges I. Every room to keep things up to date. Coupled with the views and proximity to the beach, this place is our home away from home!
