Edited to add another outing: We recently went on the nighttime bioluminescence paddle. So much fun! It was a great experience.

2022 We went on the Possession Point Kayak Adventure Tour in July and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an easy paddle with wonderful scenery. Our guide was professional, helpful and entertaining. We would definitely book another trip with them.

We chose the all-day, Blue Heron point to point guided tour, and boy howdy, was it an absolutely AMAZING experience from start to finish.

The website was easy to navigate and very descriptive (especially compared to some competitors we were looking at). When asking questions, the answers were prompt and informative. They gave good suggestions on planning around traffic (make sure to listen!) and to stop for breakfast (Whidbey Island Bagels had our favorite meal of the trip).

The owner, Krista, checked us in and got us fitted for life vests and provided dry bags, phone cases, and sunglass holders as needed. Make sure to use the bathroom at head quarters! She was a hoot and gave a little teaser of the island as she drove us to the drop point.

The tour itself was a major highlight of our Washington trip. The water was glassy, we saw 3 types of jellies (got to hold 1), 3 bald eagles, a couple of osprey, a few seals, a bunch of blue herons, and some kelp crab, and got to try some VERY fresh bull kelp.

Our lead guide, Tucker, was an absolute wealth of knowledge on the ecosystem, the animals, and the island, of which they are born and raised, and you can feel their passion for both kayaking and the area in their storytelling. Our assistant guide, Macy, was a treasure! So kind and accommodating. She was paired with the introvert of our group and made her feel right at home.

10/5 if I could, but alas.

We had family was visiting Whidbey Island from Texas which included our 12-year-old and 15-year-old nephews, so we booked the tour of Penn Cove. Ryan and Sue knocked it out of the park. Everyone, including us locals had such an amazing time. Ryan was super helpful getting us set up with life jackets, cell phone covers, and paddles and Sue shared paddling tips along with great information about the history and sea life in Penn Cove. Paddling through the mussel flats was our favorite part as we got an opportunity to see and hear the seal pups and view their mammas sunning on the docks keeping a watchful eye. The boys talked all weekend about seeing the seals and the bald eagles.

Thank you for such a memorable kayaking experience!

We did our tour with Lisa.

It was wonderful. Our 4 year old enjoyed collecting the floating seaweed. Our other kids enjoyed their first time paddling. My wife was scared at first, but eventually got used to being in a kayak.

Lisa was a great guide and taught us about the local biology and geology.

We'll definitely do this again the next time we're on Whidbey.

Expectations were clear, pricing straightforward, delivery was convenient, cancellation terms were flexible enough that I felt okay paying a month in advance.

The employees arrived with delivery when they said they would, gave adequate instructions for us to keep a large group safe, and had good knowledge of the local environment which they were happy to share. They also arrived in time to pick up the kayaks.

The kayaks themselves were great. Everybody wanted a tandem when the time came, but they all asked for singles ahead of time. I recommend encouraging people to double up in tandems if you can!
