(February 7, 2019, 6:09 pm)ABOVE & BEYOND!!!!! How can we ever thank this wonderful crew at this firehouse for taking such great care of us. First, they came and helped us with our 91 year old mother to help get her to the ER. Second, they came after midnight to help us push the wheelchair up our snowy and icy walkway and ramp to get her into the house. Third, on their own time off, the nicest thing ever, they showed up and shoveled our sidewalk and ramp the next morning. Unbelievable!!! GOD Blessed us with these HERO's!!!!!

King Co Fire 44 provides a real basic service the best they can with their wonderful people... but if the tax payers of the City of Black Diamond knew what a non priority it is to fund fire and life safety counting on neighboring departments to bail them out... well they would be shocked! Wake up city council and follow Maple Valley Fire and consolidate services with Puget Sound Regional Fire or at least get envolved with the Regional Training system for your existing crews and staff. Great people just need the city to make BD Fire to be a priority.
