(November 9, 2020, 5:22 pm)Love this place, even better in the summertime. You can park near the park and ride or by outside the police station and walk the trails. Lots of area to set up a picnic on the grass, sand, or tables there. Used to be rope swings from the trees but I think they got cut down. The maintenance on the whole area is great. The grass is cut, there are trash bins, dog bags, and they trim the blackberries back.
Great place for kids, families, dogs, dates, or simply a walk by yourself. In the warmer months, it's great for swimming. Though I wouldn't recommend this as a place to put in for kayakers as the slope down to the water can be steep.
Trails are gravel, so walkers and bikes only.
