Daebak Wang Mandoo Korean Dumplings

The best korean mandu and fried dumpling in the Washington. Everything here is really good.

Simple menu, greeted at the door, and great customer service throughout the meal.

This place specializes in dumplings and dumpling soup along with a few other options but it didn’t get too complicated. The food did not take long to come out and the quality was great.

Our table and other customers were checked on frequently but not too much and it was greatly appreciated. If we needed more kimchi or water, it came out pretty quickly.

Not a broth expert but I know when places make theirs too salty and did not experience it at all here.

The inside is a little cozy but clean. Plenty of parking at the front of the restaurant. Servers were also helpful explaining what things were to first timers. Not the first time we’ve been here and it won’t be the last. Happy to support this restaurant.

Delicious lunch! The owner packages the rice noodle/dumpling soup in parts so it can be reheated at your leisure. One order of soup came with one carton of soup, one carton of dumplings and rice cakes, one carton of kimchi, and one carton of seaweed/egg for garnish. The portions are generous- two orders will feed 3-4 people.

The Mandoo are IMMENSE. Our favorite is the black rice bun filled with red beans. I buy a sack full and take them home to freeze. They are easily reheated in the microwave or steamer.

Everything is made from scratch- the kimchi is the best I’ve ever had.
