Portage Bay Cafe - Ballard

Really great brunch place! The food and service was fantastic, seating was pretty limited so I'm grateful for their reservation system. Be aware, it is a very popular place, if you're looking for outside seating there's only a few spots, even with reservations you might have to wait a little bit depending on the time.

I've been here a number of times over the five years I've live here and have always loved it. The service is outstanding. Even when something was missing, by the time we were about to ask for it, our server brought it out before we could ask. Exceptional quality of food and I also love the kitchen bar!

Came with a group (4 of us total) on a Sunday. Parking was easy (there’s a lot across the street, although it’s not free). Waiter was friendly, gluten-free and vegan options available. The toppings bar was open and accessible, which was a great perk!

I ordered the vegan banana pancakes, which were delicious but super small portion! There were three (small) pancakes. Even with all the syrup, I was still hungry so ended up ordering a side of scrambled eggs. Which were delicious. But one entrée should be enough to keep a person at least somewhat full.

Amazing restaurant. They require you to show your vaccination card and ID, so don't forget to bring them! The food was DELICIOUS, and the berry bar was an amazing bonus!

OMG! I had the oatmeal battered french toast. Large serving but very light. Wife had a vegetable omelette that she loved. Homemade breads. Huge portions. Great coffee.
