When I walked into the paint chipped halls of Asa Mercer middle school I smelt a putrid like oder it was disgusting turns out it was a kids lunch rotting in their locker and immediately I knew that I was in for a long haul, now this year I did get in trouble one of the students was picking fun at me so I decided to punch him, luckily I didn't get expelled thank you Mercer, the school has okay teachers the homework really is not that hard but it is draining. I wish they would focus on adding more clubs and activities that would be really fun I do admire how the principal tries to put in effort to work with students it's really nice and that is why I'm giving the school four stars. :-)

I'm moving to Seattle from New York and I've heard good things about this school. It seems like the school got better and a lot of the negative reviews are from awhile ago so I'm pretty excited about going here. I guess vicious students and chipping walls don't sound like the best environment but hey, no school's perfect.

I've been at this school for 2 years and i'm about to go to the eighth grade. I just want to say that this school isn't even that bad. It's the students. The last eighth graders we had were so bad. They skipped class a lot and disrespected the teachers. And some of the 7th graders were just as bad. Besides that, the school is good. Most of the teachers are nice and funny and the school looks better than it did when I first came here because it has been repainted and repaired a little. It has a good music and sports program too. All in all, it's a nice school. I would definitely choose it over Washington any day.

I go to school here its not the best looking but the community is amazing and every student helps each other out. The school was just repainted so its in good condition. It is also a very diverse school so kids from any religion can fit in
