My husband and I started with Sharon to learn Texas Two Step and to prepare for our son’s wedding. That was only the beginning! We are now on our second package and are enjoying learning West Coast Swing, along with other new steps. Sharon is always patient, encouraging, and makes learning enjoyable. The added reward is learning something new together as a couple. We have always enjoyed dancing, but this has brought it to a new level.

Sharon Ardelle is such a professional when it comes to teaching ballroom dancing. She has a great personality and makes learning to dance so much fun. I can highly recommend Sharon Ardelle and know you will enjoy your dance lessons when you take from one of the best.

I signed up for lessons with Sharon so that I could learn West Coast Swing, and could dance with the man I'm dating. He has been doing WCS for 3 years. Sharon got me to the point of being able to dance with my partner after only 4 lessons, and was flexible enough to let me bring my partner and she worked with both of us. Most important, she is a lot of fun! Sharon isn't judgmental. She focuses on my abilities and goes at my pace. Also, she emphasizes fundamentals (posture, positioning of arms, etc.) from the beginning so that I won't develop bad habits. I heartily recommend her.

I was a student of Sharon's for two years, and enjoyed every weekly lesson. Ballroom dancing is invigorating, quite challenging, and sometimes frustrating, but watching head and hand positions while trying to remember the steps is also quite good for the brain. Besides, Sharon is patient, encouraging, and funny, so by the time circumstances ended this relationship, I had come to appreciate and respect ballroom dancing as never before. The hard work and the many laughs, as well as the constant appraisal of Mindy Lou, Sharon's dog, were a looked-forward-to part of my every week.

I worked for Sharon back in the 90's as her receptionist. she was the owner of The Dance Factory in North Seattle. The studio was always buzzing with up and coming events, theme parties as well as group vacations, involving the instructors and students. Sharon's high standard of always keeping herself and staff current and on the cutting edge of latest Dance trends was important to her. Her professionalism and knowledge of dance is top notch. Her love of dance shows in every aspect of her life. Truly an inspiration!
