  These folks are so great! I was freaking out because my dog got something in his eye. Not only did they take care of it but they didn't even charge me anything because it was an easy job and he was a good boy. They wouldn't take my payment. So great to see such great work, honesty, and integrity.

  We brought in our cat at 11pm on a Thursday. The cat hates going to the vet and can get violent, but he needed emergency care. Macy and Dr. Foley were wonderful. They treated our cat with comfort and care, to the point that he allowed a full examination. They quickly diagnosed the issue, gave him an injection to start treatment, and walked us through what we needed. We were there for less than an hour.
  
  The last time I went to an emergency vet (years ago, in another state), I had to pay $1400 up front. Emerald City charged us less than $200 for everything, after they performed treatment, and while we were fortunate enough to not need it, had payment plan information readily available that wasn't CareCredit.
  
  I cannot thank or recommend Macy and Dr. Foley enough!

  The staff here is amazing and concerned with giving your pet the best care possible, during a very scary time of need. They are very sensitive to the stress an emergency causes, and it shows. I had no doubts my poor kitty was in the best hands during her brief stay here. Furthermore, as an emergency vet clinic is expensive, they are understanding and compassionate when the time comes to discuss treatment options and finances. I am so glad these good people are just down the street from me, even though I hope I never have to see them again!

  I've had 2 experiences here and they were both incredible. 4 years ago I came home to my kitty almost entirely unresponsive and barely able to lift her head. This was, of course, on a Saturday night. The Dr was incredible and kind. It turned out Rio had Diabetic Ketoacidosis. She walked me through my options and was so empathetic as she told me Rio may not make it through the night. She made it! The whole time they kept me constantly updated and I could tell the we're completely invested in keeping her comfortable and doing everything they could to save her.
  This week, my other kitty had major surgery at his primary. In my excitement that he was okay and getting him home I forgot his e-collar and didn't even think of it until he went for the stiches at 10PM. I called Emerald City right away and popped over, the Vet Tech who helped me was so gentle and kind trying on 2 different collars and showing me carefully how to adjust. She also went over with me the option of a onsie since he could just barely still reach the bottom stitches or would have to be in a HUGE cone and made sure I knew I could come back if I decided to try that one anyway.
  I can't recommend them highly enough and feel so lucky to have such an amazing emergency clinic so close.
