It was really beautiful at sunset! My children loved it the water wasn't so strong they were able to throw rocks in the water. It's wheel chair accessible up to the point before the sand then its all rocks and tree or branches.

This park is an experience. You have multiple options here; it's practically a choose your own adventure story.

There's the bluff up above with breathtaking views of the sound. There's the beach below that's a bit rocky but quiet and peaceful. Or there's the park in the middle with lots of space to run and play.

Just make sure you pick the right parking lot because it can be a bit of a climb.

Beautiful Park and Beach but beware of pot smokers

The views are amazing here. Great for watching the sunset or taking a stroll down the shore. It is a dog friendly (leashes on) beach which is another plus. There are picnic areas and available grilling spots, public restrooms and trails.

The only downside to this park are the young people smoking weed on the mid-level park area (where the pergola area) Which is sad because that's the best view to see the sunset.

Little children inhale the disgust in smoke and if you or or child has asthma, just know that there is no strict rules being applied to this family oriented park with regards to smoking pot in public.

A wonderful place to come visit the Puget Sound. The beach is mostly rocky, but there are patches of sand to dig around in. The bridge across the train tracks gives a great view of the beach and provides a cool vantage point when trains come by. There's also a really cool playground up above the main parking lot, before you get to the beach, and a couple of paths and trails that go around the very top of the park.
