I give Danica 5 stars! I just called the office I was expecting it to be a lot of waiting but I was received and taken care of quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly! I can only hope that my appt. will go as smoothly. I will keep you all updated.

I experienced a strength training injury that left my arms insanely swollen and difficult to raise two days later. I called to ask about urgent care which apparently no longer exists as it used to, but they do squeeze patients in as time allows if you're able to wait. I arrived just after opening and they were able to get me in to see Dr. McLaughlin within an hour. He ordered X-rays which ruled out any bone injuries, then urged me to get same day blood and urine labs to check for rhabdomyolosis, which I'd never heard of in 13 years of weightlifting! Turns out I did have a mild case of rhabdo which can be life threatening if not treated quickly and properly; I really appreciated getting a call from the doc that same day, even if it meant 2 weeks of rest and constant water intake. Dr. McLaughlin was friendly and answered my zillion questions in person and via MyChart. The front desk staff are also pleasant. Based on my two appointments here and the fact that Dr. McLaughlin likely saved my life (or at least my kidneys), I recommend Westsound Orthopaedics.

Front desk were efficient and pleasant. They got me into a room quickly. The MA was great and listened. The X-ray tech was very fast and explained everything well. Dr. Shatzki I believe, was busy but listened. And gave me a plan and explained the issue with my back. I was worried after reading all of these reviews. As a small business owner I know that sometimes reviews don’t tell the whole story. I was happy with my care and plan of action going forward.
