I heard the older buildings on campus are haunted. I also heard at one time Buckley wanted to put prisoners here. I also heard Governor Christine Gregoire wanted to close this place. Witch then that would be the end of Buckley most of the cities revenue comes from here take that away Buckley would turn into a ghost town like Lester, Washington.
This is a great place to work. Most of these negative reviews are from cynical staff or staff whom didn't mix well with their team. Rainier is a fun and rewarding place but you gotta put an effort to make it that way. The clients are great, though some have behavioral issues which makes the job dangerous to a degree. I love having fun with staff and clients, and knowing I'm doing well when everyone is smiling at the end of the day is just icing on the cake.
NEO was a great experience for me. They are very thorough when teaching how to keep yourselves and your clients safe. I've seen bad reviews on this place but after experiencing it myself, I realized that the bad reviews are from disgruntled employees. This place is very pleasant and the clients are wonderful. There are employees that are there for a paycheck and those who actually care. As for any environment, you can make the most of it and have fun or find things to fuss about
