Discovery Primary School

We are SO thankful for this school and their never ending resources for my son. He looks forward to school everyday. Every single staff member is very attentative to all of his needs. I will add though, whoever it is that answers the front office phone calls (NOT Vicki) could use a little TLC, she's always rude when I get her on the phone.

My 11 year old daughter first went to this school when we were stationed here back in 09/10 and she had a problem going to school early i.e. Crying and separation anxiety, but then there was Mrs. Hardigan that to this day is still there who helped her overcome that fear! Soo very grateful for such a patient and understanding staff member who goes above and beyond for students there. Now my son goes here and I absolutely love it! His kindergarten teacher Mrs. Nolan was very awesome. Super sweet and knew how to handle her kids in class. She honestly was one of the best teachers I've met in WA. And she just was super amazing especially with little kids. Now my son has Mrs. Swan for his 1st grade teacher who used to be my daughter's teacher back then who was known as Miss John which makes it all wonderful because I just simply adore her! Discovery is by far a very welcoming and wonderful school! Soo glad my kids get the privilege of having such amazing people to help them learn and grow!

Ah great memories

This school is the best school that you could ever put your child in. I have no regrets .. this is by far the best school I have encountered here in Washington. My son entered kindergarten. I am a very over protected mom. I enrolled him in another school ,I won't say the name, and the school was so bad I had to withdraw my child within two months. Anyone could walk up and grab your child. In discovery prime , they have ppl everywhere helping your child and assisting them to your car personally and to the buses. My son went to school not knowing a single word to read. He now knows how to read an entire book alone with no help. His teacher is Mr.Haynes. Great teacher. Very nice guy and teaches these students more than well! The office manager Mrs Vicky.. a the best. If you have any concwrnor problems.. believe she will take care of them. I would choose this school over anything !
