I am a chef. I've worked in many different kitchens for the last 10+ years. I'm originally from Arizona where I worked primarily in Italian, Chinese and Mexican kitchens.
The Mexican food from El Bucana's Taqueria is without a doubt the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. It is the best authentic Mexican cuisine you will eat outside of Mexico. I'd never eaten here before until today and I am blown away by the flavor. Just walking in the small little restaurant the smell reminded me of working at On the Border in Arizona where it was literally on the border of Mexico. I didn't think Washington had good Mexican food until I ate here. Absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend it.

Ooooo, roll me home, I ate too much! The chicken chimichanga was crunchy smokey savory citrousy cheesy goodness. My husband had a super spicy shrimp dish that he loved as well. We were there to early to catch the mariachi band, but will definitely be back again!
