Marvel Bay Cafe

Don’t go here if you’re expecting American food. But if you enjoy trying food prepared like they are in other cultures, you’ll LOVE Marvel! The food here are prepared like they are in Slavic countries. I mean authentic Slavic countries, not someone’s interpretation of Slavic food. The employees are a little shy, but that’s mostly because they’re from other countries and are trying hard to learn and understand English. On the other hand, they’re doing better than they think they are, and do much better than what I have seen most Americans do in other countries.

While visiting the cafe, do visit their attached grocery store. You’ll experience how grocery stores are laid out in many European countries. They mostly stock groceries from other parts of the world. Another plus is their candy aisle. They have chocolates from all over Europe. Be aware some of these taste different than what you’re used to, and many have alcohol in them.

I truly don’t understand how anyone could give this establishment a bad review. I’m absolutely in love with this place i go to the cafe weekly. The buffet is my favorite the most amazing comfort food, that leaves you satisfied as an American some of the foods were new to me. I had never tried Russian food but this place deserves 10 stars. Clean great staff, prices are amazing, bakery is to die for, dessert options outstanding! I swear they undercharge and just a change of pace from monotonous food options. It feels like real home cooked food if this place closed I would cry! A hidden gem I tell everyone about.

Great place to get cut to order cheese and lunch meat. Only thing I wish they had turkey, chicken and roast beef lunch meat available .

Europian lunch place with slavic cuisine, desserts, espresso and more. Sweet and friendly staff. Enjoyable and quiet atmosphere.
